Jack Pierson's work tells a story of everyday life. His photographs, drawings, sign-lettering word pieces and installations combine to tell a tale of isolation and longing. The five works in this series are an extension of the artist's unique word pieces, and focus on the theme of isolation. They are evocative of street life, calling to mind the type of place frequented when alone, or just walking the streets of a big city in various states of melancholy. His work also explores the theme of the eroticism of desire; they are sensual in their appeal to each of the human senses.
